Second Generation

My name is Jeff Broughton. I am a second generation watchmaker. My father, James Broughton, was a watchmaker for 53 years. He was not only a watchmaker, he was also President of the American Watchmakers Institute and an instructor for AWI as well. I was taught by the best and handed down a career that is known as a dying art. I can be seen on the right, in a national magazine at the age of 2, sitting next to my father at the bench. I actually went to work for my father a the age of 14. I have now been repairing watches for over 44 years myself. I pride myself as being the number one watch repairman on Angie's List.  A site where you get rated by the customer. Your satisfaction is my advertising. Because if you're satisfied, you will tell others about me and the word of mouth is the best advertising there is.

I understand that your watch is a very sentimental thing in most people's lives. Some, it was a gift from a loved one, some are a retirement gift or graduation gift and some are a gift from yourself. That is why if you bring your watch to me, I look at it right there in front of you. If it is a simple fix, I take the time to fix it there and then, so you don't have to leave your watch. If you do have to leave your watch then I want to make you feel like you have chosen the most honest person to leave it with.
